NECESSARY INGREDIENTS


  1.  3 cups rice
  2.  Dry pulse of a cup of urad
  3.  Half a teaspoonful soda (baking soda)
  4.  Salt to taste
  5.  oil

METHOD:-

Clean and wash rice and urad dal and keep soaked in water for 6 to 7 hours or more.
Then, take out the rice water and grind it into the mixer and prepare the paste.
  • - After taking urad dal water, grind it into a mixer and make paste.
  • - Now add rice and lentils paste in a vessel, mix it with a big spoon and make a thick mixer.

Then after mixing salt and baking soda in the mixer, cover the paste and keep it warm in 13 to 14 hours for any yeast.
  1. - After yeast in the mixture, stir it with a spoon, if the paste seems to be thicker then add some water and mix it well.
  2. - Fill a mixture of Idoli molds in the mines and fill the prepared mixture in it.
  3. - Now add 2 cups of water to the pressure cooker or idli form and keep it warm on gas. 
  4.   After this, cover the mold by putting the mold in a pot of cooker or idli.

Cooked Idli for 8 to 10 minutes on high flame. After this reduce the gas.
Try removing the lid. If Idli is well-formed then put the knife or the back of the spoon in idli. If the paste 
is adhesive then covered the utensil and cook Idli for some time and again. 
If the knife or spoon turns out clean then remove the lid and remove the idli from the mold in the plate.
Make similar idli with all the mixture and serve hot with sambhar and coconut sauce
